I would only go with the 600 if there is other mods done. Like cam, intake, etc.

When it comes to carbs. It's better to be to small than it is to be to big.

q-jet, this way it's also usable on any other size v8

id like to get a mild performance cam or even some 1.6 roller tip rockers just to give my lil 200hp a little more 'oomph'. i already have the 4.11 posi sitting out back and i figured out when i floor it the secondaries dont even engauge. and i have manual choke.

yes i do. sometimes....any who, so everyones saying 600cfm, i do already have my setup for manual choke, so i guess thats gotta go. i forgot to mention i do have a performer intake and hedman shorty headers. i wanna get 1.6 roller rockers like these:
249-UPMRockers.jpg
but there like $300+.

Try White performance for cheaper rockers - their store is on ebay

i do wanna race it every once in a while, just cuz my friend has a '07 or '08 rsx s and he thinks my cars a pos from the day i bought it. i just wanna shut him up at least once.i dont know if thats possible with my current setup, ill prolly need a cam and some better heads to do that. but hopefully hell have trouble with me off the line cuz of the 4.11 i got in the back. who knows, well see when i get r dun...

today at work im looking through the jegs catalog and i found the street avenger carb thats 570 cfm with electric choke for 359.99. since you guys say a 550 to 600 cfm, would being in the middle be good? theres also classic holley double pumper 600cfm for 321.99. whart5 ya think, or should i just keep looking around for a good price?

well i just found an edelbrock remanufactured carb 600 cfm for 199.99 and thats what imma try to get. also, if i got a carb spacer, would it be worth losing the hood clearence for hp #'s?
