What kind of exhaust system do you want? Are you staying with the single exhaust and just replacing the muffler for a bit more sound, or are you going to put some kind of dual setup on the car? I've had some smaller GM cars over the years with the 60 degree V6 in them (not the same as the 3.8 or 4.3, I know), with different exhaust systems on them, and they can sound pretty good. Right now I have a '96 Pontiac Trans Sport with the 3400 V6 in it, and I've had a 2 1/2" cat back exhaust put on it with a single Magnaflow muffler, and it sounds pretty good. Its a bit loud under acceleration, but not too bad, and at cruise or idle its almost as quiet as stock. Just my $0.02. Good luck with yours.

I wonder what chambered turbo tubes would sound like on a V6. They make anything sound good lol.

i was gunna have a y pipe and i was planning on using 10 series flowmaster

So, are you going to have a catalytic converter on the car? If so, Then I'd go with a muffler that's not too loud. I'm not familiar with all of the different series Flowmaster stuff, and which is louder or quieter. If you go too loud, the car will end up sounding raspy & probably not as good as it should.
