Yeah, I've had those days. Both V6 and the Chevy V8 lines are bent to clear the starter. I've never crossed Olds and Buick V8s. Plenty of V6 to Chevy V8 and one Buick V8.307 Regal said:The only thing that kept giving me unexpected issues was actually the trans. The trans lines for a 307 car don't really work with the 350 starter and oil filter. Also, my stator shaft was spent, my torque converter got banged up during shipping, and my TV cable gasket ripped which I didn't know until after I put about 6 quarts of trans fluid in.
The only Regal was a friend's '82 307 car. I eventually, turned that into a 10 second racer with a juiced up 455 bbo. My friend was a moron. Against my advice, he didn't rebuild the BOP th350 I put in and put in a "built" chevy th350 with a adapter plate. That was the first time I ever saw a severed bell housing and pretzeled drive shaft.
