As mentioned, cylinder pressure has almost nothing to do with your compression ratio. Or at least you can't make a direct correlation. The camshaft timing events have more to do with cranking psi than the compression.
 
dynamic compression vs static compression?
 
Well anyway... Even though I want this I have been tearing apart my Firebird for the past couple days and I'm getting motivated to fix it up again. So I'm going to spend my money on other things on the car, since it's got a perfectly good SBC in it anyway... And I'll leave the BBC for another time.
