I have a 85 regal and the front driver wheel is straight but the passenger is cocked out a little at the bottom of the tire. My co-woker said my camber is off. What can I do to fix it? Or should i just take it to a shop. Prefer to fix it myself. :wtf:

If you open your hood and look at the top if your a-arm u will see where it attaches to the frame there are spacers. That's how the camber is set on these cars. I would go take it for a alignment and they will set it right.I dunno how yours got so bad tho if the drivers side is straight.could be your balljoints are bad or bushings.

Have you put springs in the car to raise it or is that side up on a jack?. I have a 1º negative on my car and the look like you have about at least 1º negative camber, the specs on your car call for 1/4 to 1 1/4º positive camber. If you have raised the body the camber goes negative. if you havn't done anything then check the upper control arm to see if the nuts have backed off letting your upper move inwards.

When I bout the car it was like that. The car was not running when I bout it for $500. Did'nt lift the car or anything. But I do have to replace the springs, shocks, tie rod etc. so I'll just take care of that when I finsh droping in my sbc & trans. I'm just preying the frames not bent which I dont belive just saying.

if the frame was bent causing that camber on the wheel you'd have alot of body damage so I don't think you have to worry about the frame. Pop the hood and see what you have. It might be nothing more than the guy loading that side up with shims to get a negative camber and then lost interest before he got to the other side

the amount of shims look normal so I'd pull the wheel to check the ball joints and control arms to see if they are bent, and if they check out I'd pull the rotor off to see if the bearings are there and if they are check the spindle to see if it's bent

No engine right? By the time you put the weight of the engine back in it may not be that far off.
