That really isn't that far off center. If you were to loosen the body mounts and slide it over 1/8" you'd be set. Not a big deal since the car is basically a shell right now anyway. Might effect the way the bumper fits the body though -- which could also be adjusted.

You just made me remember that my body it not bolted complete to my frame, it only have has 4 bolts to hold it to the frame till the painter come get it. That may be the problem :blam:

Your clearance issue appears to be with the frame I don't see how moving the body will change this unless the wheelwell was the issue.
I think a 1/4" clearance right now will be an issue once the car is loaded and anytime the suspension travel pushes down on the rear
A far less expensive route would to be to notch the frame for clearance you could probably get by with a 1/2" notch instead of going flush with the inner wheelwell which will give approx. 1.5" added over stock.
I would do a full notch because things change and the added clearance opens up your options for more backspace if you change your mind about your rim choice.

You can center the rear end using the adjustable uppers. This is a VERY common issue with these cars.
Sounds like you only need to move it 1/8 of an inch wich isn't much at all.
Simply shorten the upper arm on the side you want to move it to and lengthen the opposite side the exact same amount.

I am going to see how it fits once the body it completed bolted to the frame. Notching the frame will cost me another $600+, so I need a cheaper fix.

Doing this seems to be the cheapest way out, I am going to try and sell/trade my uppers and get some adjustable. I really hope that fix it.

 Yeah, you're right. Not sure what I was thinking. Must have gotten distracted by pontiacgp's comment about outside clearance or something. The morning caffeine seems to be in full effect now. You guys seem to have it covered.

Now it just hit me too. The body has nothing to do with the wheel and frame, so the notch and adjustable upper should fix it. Man I am glad there are some smarter people on here than me.

$600+ for a frame notch? I think it's time for you to take some welding classes , I think I spent maybe a day and less than $75 on materials to do mine.
I don't think buying adjustable upper and lower control arms will solve your issue even if you can get your rearend centered to the frame you are still only going to have approx. 3/8" clearance and after spending the money and time to set up the control arms and if there is a tire rubbing issue you might get a little upset, but at least you will have some really cool control arms.
Notching the rear frame is mostly just time consuming and the fitting and welding aspect of it is mostly common sense if you have or know somebody with fabrication skills and the proper tools.

The frame notch will be required to gain clearance on the inside of the tire. However, your rear end will still be offset to one side after doing that. The adjustable uppers will allow you to center the wheels from side to side.
