86442..........Do you get any wheel well rub action in the front? Im runing corvette 15 x 8 rallys and 225/70/15 tires and getting sub rubbing in the wheel well on turns and suspension travel.......worried how long this can continue befor ei have a tire issue
yes i do but only if i crank it hard. Its not much and hasnt hurt the tires at all. ive had these wheels on 3 different cars with the same tires and the most i could do with the difference was put a smaller tire on. I had 215/70 15 on it but didnt give the ground clearance that I wanted and was a pain in the *ss to blow up the bead. so i stepped back up to the 225/70/15. great running tire size if you ask me. i barely notice the rubbing tho.

hell, i read that wrong. Im running some 15x7 ralley's in the front.' i tryed the 15x8 with 225/70's and it was too wide for me. they rubbed bad. I put the 15x8 in the back and put 275/60's on the rear. the only rub i got with that is if i got too much weight and the fender well starts to cut into the tire. I rolled the lips and that helped keep the cutting down but i still rub. Im thinking of going to a 255/60 and see how that works. i was told i could run the 15x8 which does look good but i would have to use spacers. f*** a bunch of that. I like my front end and components just like they are

yeah, im trying to determine the most cost effective way out of the rubbing. The 15 x 8's 4" BS with the BFG 225/70s rub.

I have been doing some measureing and think that I could cut it down alot with 15 x 7s with 4.25 backspace.......but i woul dhate to buy some Jegs/summit GM style rally 15 x 7s only to find they rub the same amount

I dont want to change tire size as they are all 4 brand new!

Not sure and not recommending but possibly as a cheap temporary solution a set of simple spring screws or whatever its called that would lift the front by maybe up to a 1/4" would buy you enough clearance.

lol the getto fabulous crowd sometimes use several of them to put the nose in the air.

I have been thinking about trying the MR Gasket Rubber spacers to see if that will "stiffen up" the front spring enough to allow me to eliminate the rubbing

I think you'll be better off goin that route cuz thats the same wheel size on mine. I still rub but very little and only when i crank it hard. but ive also got newer springs and shocks, if i can remember right the springs are from Tamraz's parts and the shocks are Monroe
