whell stud replacement

i need to replace one on the rear of my cutlass. i have drums on the back, do i need to take the drums off?

yeah, drum should have to come off. The stud should be in the axle itslelf.

yes the drum will have to come off.

knock the rest of the broken stud out
put the new stud in
put a couple washers & a lug nut on the new stud and tighten it a little to hold it in place
take the nut & washers off
put the drum & wheel on & tighten all the lug nuts up
