Which rims

I like either, I generally prefer the small wheels with fat tire look over big rims, but there are some sharp 17" rims out there (look at injectedcutty's car).

I convinced my buddy to go with 15" Cragars for his F150 project a year or so ago. They also happen to be 14" wide in the back

I think if you are going to up size to a 17" rim there are plenty of good looking options out there other than Cragar. (Injectedcutty is one example)
And many will less expensive and lighter.

Oh, I agree, just that those were what he said he was interested in

I thought the OP either had a set of Cragars or knew somebody that had a set of Cragars and I assumed both were 15" which is why I thought the choice was limited to those two options but if he is going to go out and buy a new set of Cragars then shop around and see what's out there before settling especially if considering 17" wheels.

I have also always liked the GTA style mesh wheels, the first time I saw them on a Gbody was a maroon Monte SS and the rims had the gold centers.
