Which torque converter?

A spragless converter is mostly for a car with a transbrake. It's the first part that sees the initial shock load of a hard launch & will break if used with a transbrake.

You don't need a spragless converter.

buy a 9.5" for best service..no slippage at all during normal driving

the 12" modified are quite slipping in regular driving ( low cost)

Another question, what's the significance of a spragless converter?

I am running one of their converters and love it. Donald is the one you need to talk to. He is a nice guy to deal with. Just bought their th350 with transbrake. A very nice piece
