Which upper radiator coolant hose are you using with the LM7 5.3 truck water pump? The outlet port on the waterpump goes straight up and in the way of my air intake pipe. trying to figure out how to route the upper coolant line around my intake to my radiator. Thinking I may need to switch to an LS1 style water pump, but would rather stick to the truck water pump if possible. Also which overflow tank do you guys use? I currently have an OE one from I believe a Mazda.

Here is the problem I am having:

Could you possibly shorten the intake tube to clear the battery tray and aim it down just a bit? Or route it to the driver's side?

Thats what I basically did here

I managed to get everything to fit.

I used a cold air intake designed for the truck - 99-06 5.3 Silverado.

I also used a new truck upper hose from Autozone / Duralast which is part # E71989, and similar if not the same to a Dayco E71989.

Now I need to figure out how to setup the coolant overflow tank. The larger bottom 1" hose goes to near the bottom of the rad, above the main rad outlet. The smaller 5/8" hose goes to near the top of the rad, and the other 5/8" hose goes to the throttle body. I am going to potentially cap the throttle body. I put the overflow tank to sit above the passenger wheel well for now - its a flat style tank from a Mazda (unsure which).
