that does blow cold! too cold. lol. I didnt shave the wall for looks, but i know what ya mean... i needed the room for the couple of hair dryers under there so that makes it even hotter. I picked up a new underdash ac setup for a sweet price and was going to use it in the el co, but decided against it, i have something special sitting that could benefit from the setup, I love the 60s... im thinking about getting rid of the air bags in the el too, so that i am not so tempted to drive it on the street... i really want my son to get into racing, by the time he is 16, so have to get more track time in with him now... doesnt help with the car sitting...

not too much been going on lately just been out driving the el alot and enjoying life. today was the choc cruise we have 7 g bodys out there and it was a good day. today my heater core decided to leak while on the way to the event and i was able to bypass it and keep rolling. i will get a new one installed in the next few weeks and i hope to get some new mods going once income tax money rolls around. anyhow i finally hit the 20 mpg mark almost as this last tank i got 19. not bad for efi and a 700r4 with 3.73......anyhow here are some pics and the last pic is where the el will sleep until january as this was the last ride for 2012 looking forward to a great 2013........

lookin nice Big Dave... is that a GBody Nation sticker on your windshield? if so, they seem like a good group of people, some clean rides too... congrats... anyhow, nice to see an update of sorts... sometimes i live through other peoples updates, since i had to switch from the el co for a sec... just got me a plasma cutter though, so will be cutting the rear frame coming up soon, to get something done every now and then on it! been working the airbrush pretty hard too, so getting good at what i can do with it! have some stuff in the works... wanted to know if you were interested in some custom lights, that say "white lightning el co" (or any other custom phrase, or letters) as it shines under the car? i have a set of custom lights for the hog, a friend sent me and im trying to push his business a little for him... i got mine before he blows up outta control! lol... if you are interested, ill show you what mine look like...

Dave,Or whowever else needs air, just thought I,d mention , as far as having ac, heat, & reliability,& a cleaner firewall, I finally switched to a vintage air system a few years back when I suspected my heater core of starting to leak.I,d already had this & that go bad in the system & the vent flapper diaphram starting to go also. Sometimes it's nice to just start with all new & have a cleaner firewall out of the deal. They are a bit of work to fabricate in though.

True vintage air is nice but I'm happy with how gm set it up as everything works on my system great..I knew the heater core would go at some point and ill just fix it and be good.... But I mean my air blows 38 degrees can't get much better than that....
