350 is back out, 400 is in place just working on getting everything hooked back up, was hoping that I could hear it run today but I don’t think that’ll happen the body is giving out but. I’ll keep chugging along as much as I can

Kept the Milodon pan on the 400 it is one designed for a Vega but fits great in a g body,

picked up alittle heat wrap for the brake lines and starter wiring, brake lines along the frame were a little close for comfort for my liking, found it was trying to burn through the + cable to the starter and ignition wire, got them tucked a little further in and wrapped now

Well I decided to dig into the 350 lost a rod cap and broke the cam, looks like this one is on me… must not have triple checked that one


Good news is I knocked the cam brake in outa the park the lifters looked great 🤣

Well it’s not the first time I’ve seen it so don’t feel bad. I’ve seen full race motors break and find a complete rod bolt sitting on the ground showing it was never torqued.

Running, spend the day getting thing buttoned up, gatta pull the dist and turn it a tooth and reroute my plug wired but wanted to hear the thing run today
