It kind of ticks me off when you have a few parts posted for sale, and you get PM'd with a response that they're interested in your parts, could you give them a shipping quote to 100XX...or could you send some pics to _______?
In either case, you respond back with pics, a shipping quote, etc. to bum****, Iowa.
Then you never hear back from these people. WTF!! At least respond back and tell me you're no longer interested, or thanks I changed my mind, or whatever. At least have the common courtesy to reply back.
I try to at least give the seller an answer. Whether it's yay or nay.

Just had to rant. :x It just pisses me off...whatever happened to common courtesy??

I hear ya. I always try to respond back to anybody that I ask questions to. Same thing happens to me. The pushy kind are worse though, the ones that want an answer RIGHT NOW and don't understand you may be busy and can't get to your computer for a couple days.

X2 on failure to communicate.

Another gripe I have on this and other forums is guys who ask for help diagnosing problems with their cars, then not letting us know what the trouble turned out to be and how thay resolved it.

One more post to say "fixed it - hey you guys were all wrong, it turned out to be xxxx" or "thanks (insert username here), you were right on the money" surely isn't too much to ask. And a PM to someone to say "I found the part I'm looking for/I don't want to pay your asking price/ I don't have what you are looking for anymore" etc. only takes as long as it took me to write this.

Politeness is free, and helps smooth the rough ride of life.

Roger.

You guys are absolutely right. There's all types of people out there.

Roger, I noticed that people who ask questions and receive answers, advice, etc, don't even acknowledge with as much as a thank you. You are on the money, politeless is free.

This is pretty much why I gave up on selling parts.
I'll sell a few parts to a select few folks every now and then, but that's about it...
There were so many time-wasters that it got to the point that it just wasn't worth it.
I ended up throwing out a lot of stuff when I moved...
