I tried to sell four Cutlass Rally wheels that I've accumulated and the guy I sold them to brought them back stating that they wouldn't fit on his 1986 2dr Cutlass. They fit on my friends '83 2dr Cutlass(diesel converted to gas). I've heard something about them being metric or something, I'm not sure but any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe he was trying to put them on an 86 calais or ciera (fwd's), they won't fit either of those cutlass'. That or he's blowing smoke....

I think that it may be the latter. I was getting the feeling that he was needing his money back because his car was on E when he came back with the wheels and he was supposed to pick up some bumper lights and left them stating that he'd be back later in the week for them...he never came back.

i can't believe you gave him money back. unless somebody has a serious problem with something they bought from me i wouldn't do a refund obviously the wheels would fit any rwd cutlass and if they didnt he should know what he's buying

they were metric but they are all still a 5 x 4.75 bolt pattern or 5 x 120.7 being the metric measurement...

I didn't want any problems. I had the guy meet me at the house because my truck is down and out and I didn't have a way to move the wheels. He'll need me before I need him...I'm sure of it.

good choice then if he knew where you lived....no telling what some people will do these days
