Hello I have a 1979 Monte Carlo, because of the lack of parts I was looking to see if anyone knows if the 81 and up Monte grill will fit? With some work?! How much? Also I am looking to see if I can put a El Camino grill and headlight bezels on the car, I know the marker lights and headlights will have to move but I am willing to do it, ANYONE have experience with doing this swap? Any info will help, and I am open to any other model grills or headlights bezels that will fit, Thanks

Only a 78 or 79 grill will fit. 80 and 81 up have a different header pannel. I might have a good used 79 grill, I will look. I think some one might be remaking them for the low rider crowd.
Thanks guys, I have 2 grills, and a set of headlight bezels on eBay right now, but it would be nice if someone made aftermarket new stuff, it's really hard finding good clean affordable stuff , that's why I was asking, if I change the market lights, it looks like the El Camino headlamp bezels will work? And the grill looks possible too?!?! I didn't know if anyone has tried to make them fit?? The parts you can get cheap and new, I might order the stuff in and see how much modification needs to be done, again if I could get the original stuff new and for an affordable price I would, Thanks guys !! I hope someone has tried?!?
