wind noise

One other thing that might cause wind noise that a lot of people don't consider is the window molding around the windshield has a plastic piece under each molding that helps reduce noise, most original ones are brittle and probably broken off.

That's one reason why I removed the windshield and raised the ledge so I could install the windshield with a rubber surround that sits flush with the body. Another reason was aerodynamics and the last was I didn't want any chrome on my car...

Yep Mine have been gone for 20 years. I just bought some from my local glass guy he has a roll of it in his truck. Gonna install it this weekend. My left side windshield reveal molding vibrates at 70 MPH this should stop that.
My doors have all new hinges and strikers along with every weather strip on and around the doors. It still has wind noise at speed. I have taken it to a car wash and pressure washed all around the doors.
I have no water leaks anywhere,So I can't believe that the noise I hear is air leaking in around the weatherstrips.
It has to be wind rush around the cab and against the Trim on the Quarter glass. I wil keep trying to find It I guess.

These cars are square lol I think its just the shape of the car and the fact that they are 25-30 years old. As long as she dont leak I just turn up the music

Yeah, I'm starting to believe that that's the problem, that the car is just 20-30 years old.
Thanks for all the input fellas

Air can leak though the weld seams on the A pillar causing wind noise. Might want to try putting epoxy seam sealer over the weld seams.

i have an air noise problem with my car but it's at highway speeds. my seals are ok but i know i need new ones simply because i still have the originals and they've held up well for their age. mine COULD have been from the felts but i replaced those. the car doesnt go on the highway now since it doesnt need to so the noise problem isnt a problem right now.

i need to deaden the roof so i dont go deaf every time it rains. a headliner alone does not make things quiet. in fact my car could use a lot of sound deadening all over. i like my interior to be quiet and it is not quiet enough for me.
