Windshield rain shield

Does anyone know where to find the thin black vinyl sheeting that is under the lower windshield stainless trim piece? I think it is there to divert rain from entering the car. its the width of the molding and about 5" tall. Like an inner door panel rain shield. 79 Lemans nut and bolt resto. (What a fool I have been)

I have never seen a replacement but I would think you could make something that is equivalent or better than the factory one and still look the same.

I got some from a custom gasket place, just 3/32 rubber I think, maybe 1/16
