My 87 El Camino is being repainted. Do they make a windshield with a built in antenna to fit my truck? If so, what will interchange?
Thanks

I do not know of any that are made like that. You can custom make one your self if you have the skill. An easier way to get ride of the huge antenna is to get an electrical one. Just wire it up and put it in the hold ones place. You should be good to go!!

My 78 came with one, from the factory, there is a small plug at the base of the glass in the firewall that the pigtail in the center of the glass plugs into. You will need to find that from a donor car.It has the antenna lead that goes to the radio.
I just painted my car in April, I had the windshield replaced and the two rear quarter glasses removed to replace the small weather strips. The windshield was like $ 130 Any glass supplier should be able to hook you up.

i got a quote for a replacement for my elky with the antenna in it, it was 160 bucks, and the guy will remove the trim. safe light wont do that.
