My new wiper motor suddenly stopped working out of the blue, so I went in and replaced it on warranty but when I tested the car to insure something else wasn’t wrong without the motor plugged in it still blows the fuse. I assume the only other culprit could be the switch itself?

Still could be a grounded feed wire. Disconnect switch and see if it blows fuse. As I recall the switch controls the return (Ground) path
