hi everyone!

I'm currently in the process of swapping my 85 elco to a 4 speed. I have a aqquired an original stick shift column and am installing it. I'm curious if anyone has any ideas of how I could wire up my wipers to work with an auxiliary switch of some kind, as the new column doesn't have the wipers on the turn signal anymore. Thanks

Swap the 1985 cluster for a 1978-1980 cluster, where the switch is on the lower left. If yours happens to be tan/brown, I'm going the opposite way, and I want to eliminate mine - we could make a swap.

The catch is that the wiring changed along the way - I think the ground changed. I don't have the data in my head, but I have seen it posted on the Forum. You will have to swap a couple wires in your harness to make the later motor work with the original switch. Maybe we should also swap wiper motors?.

why don't you take your old column apart and remove the wiper sw and swap it into the new column?
