Wire Wheel Covers Clicking!!!!!!

Hey yall i have a 1984 oldsmobile delta 88 and like the title says it has the wire spoke wheel covers and when i go around a corner at any speed thry make a loud clicking noise and its driveing me absolutly insane!!! does anyone out there know how to make them shut up if so it would be greatly appreciated also i dont want to just replace them with rallys, I like my wheel covers i just dont like hearing them, any imput will be greatly appreciated
 
OK, when I worked at a Cadillac dealer we would get this complaint a lot. One guy came up with this idea and we all used it. We would tape off the front side and spray the back of the cover where all the spoke nipples were (both outer cap and inner hub) with undercoat. Let it dry and then use a little brake clean on a rag to wipe off any that may have seeped through the spokes to the front. It kinda "glued" the spokes in place. Fixed!

at work, we use to take the hub cap off and apply electrical tape to the outer circumference of it (where the teeth are) to quiet them down. its a quick and simple way to verify and fix where the noise is coming from.
