wireing up a amp for the first time

I have a question the remote turn on wire goes from the amp to the head unit, but witch wire does it connect to i have a ANT wire and a AMP REM wire on the head unit witch one?

it would be the usually solid blue wire....the amp rem(ote) sounds like the one to connect it to

Yes, hook it to the AMP REM wire. The ANT is for a power antenna.

Yep, as mentioned... I accidentally hooked up the remote turn-on lead to the ANT lead and it worked great when I was listening to the radio, but when I switched it to CD, my amps shut off... :?
