Hello,
I have been reading through posts on here trying to find an answer but cant seem to figure it out. I have a 1987 monte carlo ss. The previous owner cut the wiring to take the computer out. I have a few wires hanging loose and need to get them in the right spot.
The harness comes from the back of the engine. On this harness there is a brown wire and a red wire both with power when the key is on. There is also a green wire and a green wire with white stripe, these have no power.
Also the wires coming from the heater I need to know where these tie in. I am assuming they need to be wired to these loose wires. There is a red wire, a black wire, and a green wire. Any and all help is appreciated.

If you have a decent recycling yard near you it might be easier to pick up a harness and replace all the wires. It's almost plug and pay with a harness that has the connections on it

Unfortunately there are very little parts for these cars in my area, most of them have all been stripped or turned into stock cars. The car still runs I just need the heat to work and I really dont like wires just hanging there. I don't mind soldering or anything like that, just need to know where the wires go so I don't fry anything.

here is some wiring diagrams that should be of some help......as for the stock cars there is usually a classified section for the tracks website, you can put an add there looking for the wiring harness. We used to race G bodies and would be happy to give the wiring away since we had no use for it
