Wiring question

Hi, trying to wire the basic ignition for my car. Car was originally a 4.3 tbi monte carlo. Was going off of a basic diagram but had a question about the distributor power. Is this the pink wire that powers it or no? It runs off of the left side of the fuse block under the wiper motor.

Pink wire is 12v power to the coil. White wire is for a tach lead.

Hi, friendly bump. Trying to figure out what this sensor/sender is and what type of connector I need for it. Excuse the crappy cell phone pic.

that's a temp sender and there's a green wire with a black connector that has a valley cut out on one side and slides onto the sender..

Just about finished with my swap, ran into one problem though. Cant get the throttle cable/detent cable into place. They both appear to be too short. Will I need to change them along with the bracket or is there a way to adjust them?
