wiring relay w/ switch HELP!

how do i wire in a switch with my fuel pump relay and for my electric fan setup? I dont want to wire them in with the ignition. I am stuck here. Can someone please help or suggest a better way? Ive read the diagram that came with both setups but they dont mention how to wire in a switch, only to igntion power.

Fuel pump negative-ground
87-fuel pump positive wire
86-on/off switch?
85-ground
30-battery w/ circuit breaker in between

What kind of switch should I use? I have 2 types. 1 with 2 terminals on the back and 1 with 3 on the back of the switch?
Also I have a in-line fuse to wire in but dont know where to put it.

good info for fan wiring ,,,, i used a 3 prong toggle switch on my fans ,,,with switch in one position the fans run off a temp sensor ,,,, with switch in other position fans run manually ,,,incase the temp sensor fails to turn fans on ,,,but this link is what i used to figure out the wiring http://www.montecarloss.com/community/u ... The two prong terminal will work and it's wired into the # 86 wire and for the fuse that would go in the constant feed wire # 30
