Would you buy one of these?

I really like the blue one!

if GM is going to "bring back" an older car why not jjust restamp the old bodies put them on a modern chassis with modern engine and interior and sell it. i would sure buy a new camaro if it was externally identical to the 69, and to had an LS engine with modern interior and struts or coilovers. the new camaro looks to much like the new charger and the new charger doesnt really look like the old one. and who the hell came up with a 4 door? the auto makers r trying for this modern muscle BS and missing the picture. big a big engine in a small or mid sized coupe and get er done. for under $30,000

Certainly not a 69, but a nice conversion here.

Right on the money, there!, although we (my family and I) couldn't afford it, that's the way to go.

That green camaro is definately more like that I'm talking about. That looks like a camaro. GM needs to get back in the game. Ford has a million variations of the mustang now. How bout a new yenko camaro or something. As much as I dislike Ford my hat is off to them. They have been able to make a fairly affordable fairly quick car with tons of affordable after market support. If GM wanted to sell cars they would sell a stripper model of the camaro with the biggest highest HP engine available. lets get back to the factory race cars

Because the old bodies would never pass the strict federal crash safety standards.

Yep and this is also where a lot of the extra weight these cars are pack is coming from.

I dont buy this federal crash test BS, a freakin smart car passes and you can damn near kick on in the front bumper and total it. Same with a geo metro. Or if you want to go new, ya think ford festiva is safer than a midsized car with air bags? I dont.
