It doesn't take much at all to total out a car with a baseball bat. An old roomate of mine found that out the hard way several years ago.
shoot, about 10 years ago, my neighbor bought a '94 camaro that was awarded a salvage title after it was given a kellybrick treatment to the rear window and windshield.

I was speaking to a friend about ditching the body shell and dropping a regal shell on it but salvaging the t-top frame and interior and welding it to the regal shell. Is that possible? I have never measured a cutlass roof compared to a regal roof.
