How does that even happen??? You have to go out of your way to do that or just not be paying attention at all.
That idiot driver should have their license permanently revoked. 99% of the people with a license should not have one, most people do not fully grasp how dangerous a vehicle can be if you do not give it 100% of your attention as you operate it. That's 100%, not 95% or even 99%, 100% or don't ****ing drive. Is it really that much to ask you give your driving 100% attention?
And if your vehicle is disabled or whatever, STAY IN THE VEHICLE. Let the vehicle take the hit, not your body.
The missus and I recently had a problem with our hand me down Kia POS and had to sit in the car almost 2 hours before the tow truck showed up. We were parked on the shoulder of an interchange ramp between two major highways. I'm not getting out of the car in that area if I have a gun to my head.
I once drove for a living, worked for the state highway dept, and was an EMT. Most people should NOT have a drivers license.

I think the guy saw help was coming and it was time to exit. If you notice early on a wiper blade passes up and down. That and the probability that this was filmed by a cop's dash cam. The idiot obviously failed to notice both the broke down car and the emergency vehicle that presumably had it's lights flashing. I'm thinking the asshat was speeding (in the rain) along and only noticed what was happening at the last second, otherwise he would have creamed the cop and those people! G-body, I too drove professionally and if you spend any time at all doing that you soon realize most people are complete and utter imbeciles.

People, kids especially, don't understand that when you are driving a car, you are essentially controlling a 2-ton missile. You can't multitask when driving. Thank God texting and driving is illegal now in Pa at least, I will be 100% pro-outlawing calling and driving if it ever becomes a bill.
