NJ, too - though I do recall a trooper, on rt 295 in NJ (65 zone) getting behind someone and just using his PA to tell the driver to "hang up the phone" and carried on. No pull-over, no ticket.

Yeah, it's a cliche, because the driver who was on the phone was a young, attractive woman. I'm thinking my scruffy-*ss would've been hauled out of the car and thrown against the hood of the patrol vehicle.

Thankfully I've never been tempted to hold a phone up to my head or text while driving. At a traffic light, maybe. But NEVER when moving.

I'm too old school to phone and drive at the same time. Or is that just too old?!? They made it a law in NY to get the hell out of the way for a stopped emergency vehicle. They even ran that info on the traffic bill boards and I couldn't help wondering "They gotta make a LAW for that?" I guess so.....

I don't even like carrying on a conversation when I'm driving. I lie t pay attention when driving cause stuff happens quick and there are so may idiots on the road. Even when there is nothing going on a ball joint breaking can sure interfere with a nice 60 mph casual dive an if I was not paying attention that guardrail would have eaten my GP

It's definately Russian Dash-Cam Video, as I've seen this clip as part of a longer Video.

The question I have is, if you watch at the beginning, the Tire Tracks from the wagon that got hit are way over on the right - why did he pull his car that was disabled back onto the Road?

Definately a Lucky SoB!
