XBox 360 Repair...anyone try it?

Well, I bought a working one (reconditioned) with the wiring and controller for $99.99 off Ebay, shipping included. Came with a 90 day warranty too. It was cheaper than buying a broken console and the wiring and controller separately(broken consoles were $50-60 shipped). I figure that if it fails eventually, then I can fix that one. Now all I need are some games and a new TV and I might have something for people to do at my house.

I will probably get Forza Motorsport first, and then I want to get Rockband as it is the default party favorite nowadays.

Well, the seller had a 100% rating on over 1600 transactions, so I doubt it will be bad. People with that sort of rating usually will make you happy if it is bad. Ebay is a risk, but I have rarely had a problem.

rockband would be a good investment just like you said it's a fun thing to do with a group of people and it doesn't really get old. add a newer tv and sounds like you need to have some people over!

That and I need to fix my pool. And the roof over my back porch which is caving in due to extensive rot. And put the Cutlass together so that my whole house is not littered with hard to find G body parts. I have so many sets of interior panels, T tops, steering boxes, stereo equipment, window glass, etc. that I can barely move. I have 2 good dashes that are still soft sitting in the hallway. Yeah, I really need to finish that thing and put it together already.
