Trust me, you will love Forza. That is such a great game. Also have you thought of trying out Call of Duty? That is also a really fun game to play online.

Well, I know a few people who have Xbox 360's, so I will probably borrow some games and try them before I buy anything else. I had tried Forza 2 before and really liked it. I was about half way through GT4 when my PS2 died, and I couldn't justify buying another one when I only had that game for it. I had wanted another console for a while, especially since I don't have cable and I "borrow" internet. I am at a friend's house right now as I post this, and I lent him my router so that I would have another place to use my laptop.

Finally got my $90 Xbox 360 last night. It looks like new, but lacks the HDMI port that newer ones have. Cool thing is, it had a wireless controller that was new in package, but the auction said it was a wired controller, so score one for me! I also bought a 2 year warranty for it through Square Trade for $18 since they are not known as stable consoles. It works good though, I spent the better part of 2 hours playing Forza 2 last night. The game reminds me of GT 4 in it's driving experience, but has more options. I liked this one better than Forza 1, but the graphics didn't bowl me over. It's about the same quality as the PS2 based GT4, but with the bonus of allowing engine swaps, "painting" the car, and online gaming. The V8 engine sounds are better than GT4, but still not quite as good as the ones for boosted 4 and 6 cylinder cars.

hey congrats on finally getting it! forza 2 you can swap motors? lucky jerks ha do you know of any other games that will allow you to do that to cars and not just bolt on stuff?

If it ever comes out, GT5 is supposed to be amazing. I think it would let you do it. From the screen shots I have seen, it is virtually indistinguishable from real life. They also have the Top Gear track on it, and you can see old episodes with that game. Then again, it's like 2 years behind schedule too.

If you have a 360, just go to Ebay and buy the game, or go to Best Buy where you can get it new for $19.95 ( saw it the other day). The only negative is that you really need a steering wheel and pedals to take full advantage of it. The normal controller is hard to use when you are trying to make subtle changes.

ha i don't have a 360 so i will just wait for GT5 on PS3

A friend and I were talking about building something like that. It wouldn't be hard if you had a tubing bender and a welder, or some wood. Then just add a car seat. I have one out of an EG Civic that would be perfect. Sadly though, I don't have the space for something like that.

That Youtube video though, proves that some people have WAY too much time on their hands!

Forza 2 is fun, especially swapping engines and getting the cars up over 1,000 HP and doing huge burnouts. I believe the Barracuda can get up over 1,000 with an Engine Swap and all the aftermarket sh*t added.
