Xtreme Performance Transmissions?

Many (most?) guys don't have the space to do a proper teardown, cleaning/parts assessment, & reassembly. No.1 reason why I've never attempted one & leave it to a Pro.
i agree w/this^ i have 0.00 business rebuilding a transmission. The average "mechanically inclined" person can keep the tires on the road with safety in mind to get to work-enjoy everything about their rides and what they've built but it's important to know your limitations.I'm not saying don't try different thing's but the amount of parts(!!),semi/specialty one time used tools, space required and mess involved is overwhelming. Not to mention if it doesn't work-to r&i that unit, and throw down all over again..I'll roll the dice with someone that has that much more experience on the subject than me.i delt with one trans company years ago,it didn't work out-is what it is.the one I've used this last time around has stood by their product more than once, that works for me.

What i suggested was just an alternative to having to question the quality of the transmission build, then having to send it back due to issues to whomever you got it from wasting money and time, and then wasting even more time fighting to get it fixed under warranty if they are not complying like they should.

Since im mechanically inclined, been that way for decades, i've seen enough build videos thats given me 100% confidence, i'll take on that challenge, i'd love to rebuild my 700R4, even better than before someday when it comes down to it, but im in the same boat as many here of not having the proper space, but if i really wanted to, i'd make the time and space to do it.

I'm in the same boat. I have a 4l60e that came with my swap. Runs great, but a really hard 1-2 shift. I was going to yank it out and rebuild it, but for now I'm going to put a shift kit in it to help with that banging 1-2 and increase line pressure. The second I lose gears, that thing's coming out and I'm doing the job. Watching all the transmission bench videos and doing a ton of research and reading, I have all the confidence in myself that I can rebuild this thing without handing over thousands to someone who's getting bad reviews. My HP isn't even to 400, so I don't think I'll need anything heavy duty except for the hardened sun shell. As far as buying tools, that's part of what we do.
