With all the comments and opinions that have been posted, i heeded everyones warnings and keep my eyes open. I went to take a look at the car today and was kinda strung to both sides. the trunk pan was rusted out and the quarters on both sides were bad enough that i could see inside the car and vise versa when looking in the car. The floor pan on the drivers side is gone and the frame was in bad shape in the rear. Surprised as hell tho, when i seen the car start and move. The motor ran decent as it could of used a tune up obviously but it didnt smoke. On the breather it said 350 but couldnt really make out much else. The guy said itd been in storage for around 15 years and ran when it was parked. He also told me that the lowest he could go was 2000 since it still had many good parts for a donor car. 10 bolt rear end with a sway bar. He said if he doesnt sell it within the next few months, he'll put it back in storage. Ill look around some more.

So, apparently the guy selling it even thinks it's only a parts car and not worth restoring.
I really don't consider a car sitting out in a grass field for years being in storage.

i asked the same thing about it being worth restoring and he praised "OH YEAAA, Its worth every penny!!" Bells started ringing in my head to get the hell away from it, lol. I also to took a look around the car and it looked like it been there for a couple months. There wasnt any color change in the grass under the car, so that part about it being stored in a feild i think is wrong. I really do think that he brought it out of one of the buildings that were on the property. I told the guy too that if hes still got it with in the next month or 2, I told him id give him 800 for it considering all the rust on the body and frame but since it ran and moved that i guess it was worth something. I handed him a peice of paper with my name, number, and price and told him to think about it and call me when he changed his mind, and i left. I may not know much about restoring a car and having the "right" tools to do it but it would make a good challenge for me. Id give it a shot but right now i think ill keep it an option but move on ya know.

I like it I think it could be a great project. I wish I could find something like that .
It looks like no one has butchered it up. That's a bonus..
All the cars I find here in AZ are rotted and have been sitting out in the sun for 40 years.

how does a car rot in a climate like yours?

I was wondering the same thing. I was always told the cars from the South and the South west were the best to get because they werent in the salt and sand that gets put down every year.
