The same thing recently happened to Hellcat.org, there was such a revolt that a mass exodus occurred to a nearly dead site called HellcatForum.org; and the influx of users startled the crap out of the site administrator. Hellcat.org got such a blast of sh*t from the users (including spamming threads redirecting to the other site) that they started banning folks and censoring Hellcatforum.org.
