Who doesn't have to pay all that crap and no I don't live with my parent. I wish I had that much around to drop into either one of my cars.

so pats not the only one on here without a sense of humor.

sense of humor?...I have one and I think it's hilarious that you have no clue of what you posted....you can go ahead and call me a tool if that makes you feel better..and don't work too hard at wondering what my political views are, I don't think you'd understand them even if you knew

What I find hilarious is that out of 693 views of this thread that you and Pat are the only two who took it seriously and personally. Even Pat realized it and deleted his posts. I'm well aware of my posts. I actually like Pats road runner, I just ragged on it because he ragged on mine. And your most active topic is the right wing board, what a surprise. Why come to a car forum to talk politics. I think you need to stay off my thread. I wouldn't expect a Canadian to get American humor Maybe if I posted in french as well as engish you'd get it.

You are correct. A Canadian would not understand American Humor because we are too busy building igloos and hunting beaver, and trading furs with White Man,to sit down and figure out what the hell ya'll talking'bout.

Depends on what job your doing. If your doing overtime then of course the military isn't going to pay for that. If your a JAG officer, pilot, air traffic controller on a carrier or whatever, then yes you will make more money outside the service. Now I'm not sure if were counting all of the benefits that service men and woman get from being in the military or if were just looking at base salaries with no hazard pay, sea pay, or any additional pay.

Ok, well with BAH & BAS included into my salary I make 45,000 a year...I'm a 12 year SSgt 7 level craftmans B-52H crew chief / Instructor...now with that said A&P license mechanic starts around 60K no experience, ALSO lets look at what I have to acclomplish besides my job in the Air Force, maditory PT, Dorm Duty, EPR's, community service and volunteer work just to maintain a 5 EPR, and various other B.S. because my Chief thinks it's a good idea...

admittedly i didn't read everyword in this thread but i did notice something. squirrell starts out bragging about his car and how great it is. later changes tune to "i was kidding" it's his car, but he points to purple heart plates and says he's the son of a vet, so it's not his car then is it? oh, ok, later on it's his best friends car? i can't figure out if the motor is worked over or stock, that seems to keep changing. oh look, now he's a sergeant!
talk about running in circles!
i also like how pat says, rather early on, that he misunderstood the original intentions, stated that idiots have shown POS's as the ultimate car, and apologizes. yet squirrel keeps hammering away. why? are you that friggin insecure? how about this, pick 1 story and stick with it, instead of worrying about everyones opinion just build the car, drive it and enjoy it.

Oh, the DRAMA This has been like watching the daytime soaps  It is funny that people will get all riled up at what happens on a forum.Hell I even had to add my .02 cents 😛

You still must not have read every word than. Go back and do that then read the following: The plates are veteran plates, yes. Veterans' son plates don't exist, that's ridiculous. I said "those plates are veterans, son (referring to pat as son)" though admittedly I may have left out the comma. I'm human, please forgive me. Read every post. My story never changed once. It is my car and Blake442, helped me build it. That’s why there are two people talking about it. If you read every post it will make perfect sense. Its sounds like you’re combining 3 different people's posts. Pat's family was in the military. I've been a non commissioned officer in the US Army since 2005, and I won't be questioned by some a-hole who doesn't even read all the posts. The Pontiac 455 is almost stock and in the car. The stage 1 is being assembled now slowly but surely.

I keep hammering away not because of insecurity but because of my deep rooted passion for F'ing with idiots. Especially when they ask for it. You seem to fall into that category. I also have a serious issue with letting things go.

It seems a few of you have a problem with jumping to conclusions with out knowing the whole story

It doesn't suprise me that this thread was met with such hilarious mixed reception.

I think all that's left is posting the rest of the pictures so that everybody can see the true greatness of this automobile.
It's the little things that really make it stand out, like it's finely crafted interior, and exquisite attention to detail.
It truely is a wonder to behold.

That should settle the debate once and for all of what terrible work I'm cabable of. It's truely amazing, and sure to erase any credibility that still remains around my name. While I built show quality cars at the restoration shop I worked at, this car clearly does not showcase any of those talents.

Overall, I'd say your first thread is a resounding success. 😛
