Your car *WILL* get stolen!

Just put a manual transmission in it.
Last time I had Costco put tires on my c10 after walking around a bit they called me.

I got a 2 minute speech on how regulations don't usually allow it, but, nobody in the shop could figure out how to start it and would I come back to drive it into the shop.

Carb 1, modern/fuel injection 0.

Good to see some of the posters in this thread from way back. Like did Doober ever get his heap put back together in AZ and did the OP ever sell his heap for the 4.5678 mill he was looking for it claiming it was like a 10 second car with the interior of the space shuttle?

If your alarm goes off, and you can get to your legally owned firearm in time, better a bullet hole in the driver side door, or a busted window than finding it in a chop shop.

Just saying.

Unfortunately here in Canada, that would mean prison- but I'm sure some Americans here could relate 😂😂😂😂😂

Since this was originally posted, I had an experience. I was putting the garbage out when I heard a popping noise out on the street. There was an old Toyota parked right up behind my Malibu wagon. It was idling and every time one cylinder fired it made a loud bang like the manifold was broken. One guy was just walking back to the Toyota from my wagon shaking his head and gesturing to the driver about something. I opened the gate and banged the garbage cans around and he hopped in the car and they took off. I looked in my window and there it was- a manual shifter. I also had a kill switch but I think that shifter saved the day.

We had some tweakers steal a car right out of the parking lot at work in broad daylight on Thursday. They stole one car, smoked up their ski powder, dropped it and stole by buddies car in the parking lot.

Not a g body, but still.

Doober does NOT have his Malibu back together or on the road, but he has recently been doing quite a bit to his OBS Silverado, lowering it, fixing some wiring issues, etc and has said the Malibu is next. I know he even bought a 6 speed for it too.
