I had a boss that moved down to Texas from CT. Brought her snow blower with her. Ironically, 2 months later we get 5 inches of snow.

No native texans showed up for work that day but about 10 of us non natives (out of 300) showed up. I was there at 7:15 like normal... I absolutely love driving on fresh powder and the vacant roads in Dallas were a bonus.

The Boss shows up around Noon, because she had to "snow blow her driveway"..

We all laughed because unless its an ice storm, the driveways in Texas melt by the afternoon. The next day she confirmed all of her neighbors driveways were show free when she got home.

I bought a 24" blower and a snow plow a couple years back and we haven't had more than a 3" snow since. I can relate, lol.
