Just posting some pics of my newly acquired 2+2. Hasn't ran in 6 years, needed a starter solenoid, fuel line into a jerry can, and a battery. Alternator was siezed but a hammer and a breaker bar took care of that. It was parked in grass thus the total rot of the frame/body. Paid $600 for it, plans are to use the front fascia, bumpers, posi, interior, and possibly the back window to rebuild my first car. Its a 1984 grand prix brougham, bought Aug of 92 when I was 15. I also have a t-top GP that I am going to steal the t-tops out of it, plus a 1974 cadillac for the 472 motor. I have 4 cars that will be turned into one... Lofty dreams and a full barn. 🙂

If anyone wants any specific pics ask now before I wedge it in the barn.

All 4 brake lines were rotten, so if you look at the underhood pics we took one brake line right off the master cylinder and put it right to the passenger side flex hose. The drivers side brake rotor didn't have any inside braking surface anymore, just the fins. Tried taking a pic of it, but it appears the camera focused on the ball joint instead. So it has one wheel brakes right now, good enough for moving it around.

I don't want to part the interior yet. I do have a burgandy dash and console available if wanted, but I am in Ontario, would be a bugger to ship. The t-top car also has a console and has dark blue interior, I don't know what interior I will keep, the dark blue or this grey. I imagine I can use most of this grey interior and then paint the t-top plastics, but I haven't made up my mind.

Hey crazyliver, too bad it`s so rusted! I realize you don`t want to part the interior yet but I gotta ask. Are you plannig to re-use the horn buton? I have the same wheel for a 88 t/a in my lemans and have been looking for that very same horn button with PONTIAC written in the centre for the longuest time. Would yoy be willing to part with it?
Thanks,Dean

all the white paint is flaking and it is the original silver underneath. There is no apparent major damage anywhere, just lots of rust.

I won't sell the steering wheel center yet, as I kind of like the look. The leather is really loose on the wheel for some reason, but I am not going to sell any parts until I make up my mind on what to do. My mind changes a lot. When I start working on the car I will have a better idea.
