i am gonna install a electric fan on my 400hp Monte i already have the mark vIII fan to install. But i really dont like the way they look installed doesnt look to factory to me and the cleanest way to install them is with zipties. Also I am not very comfortable with all the weight from the fan at high speeds on the radiator fins.So please post up of youre electric fan installed pics and info on how you did it.

This is a picture of my old LT1 F-body fans in place. Nevermind the wires, this was before I tidied them up:

Its held in place with two aluminum angles at the top that are bolted to the where the original fan shroud bolted on the radiator cover. The bottom just sits on the core support lip.

And this is my new setup using a universal Summit Radiator and Derale dual fan setup:

This setup pulls a TON of air but its not inexpensive like the factory fan setups.

I used a dual fan from an Olds Aurora V8 (03-04), had to do some trimming to make it fit, works well. I Made simple L brackets to mount it to the g-body Olds V8 radiator hold down. Haven't finished it off yet, but it's funtional.

flex-a-lite black magic fan and a b-body radiator. keeps the engine at whatever temp i want. i love the adjustable thermostat, you can turn it up in the winter and have a nice hot engine to keep you warm.

not the cleanest install but it was my first and i think it looks good. i even used a top plate from a cutlass when i put the wider b-body radiator in.

i may upgrade to another and newer black magic fan that has a larger shroud covering more of the radiator core allowing for more efficient cooling. just not sure that its worth the 300 bucks unless i get the chance to put a cadillac 500 in the car.

Here is my setup..

and a bracket/shroud i made to provide more support and cover the 2-3 inch gap on the bottom.

I used a hold-down bracket and now i am getting ready to complete the wiring....The fans fit perfectly between the tanks with very little trimming of the tabs.Fans are from a 98 Intrepid.

I am using an LS1 F-Body Fan with a Be-Cool radiator. I just had some mounting tabs welded to the factory radiator mounting bracked. The Fan slides over and has three screws from the top. Sorry its all a little dirty in the picks this was the rough mock up.
