i have a 86 caballero and i want to put dual 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 exhaust on it with cut outs i have a welder and the skills to do it i would just like to see some detailed pictures of how people have routed the pipes and where the mufflers have been placed i purchased a universal kit from flowmaster with a bunch of bends and pipes to make the exhaust up any pictures would greatly help.

your factory trans crossmember is your only real problem, I will see if I have any pics that may help.
this is the best i have:
flowtech headers, no cats, borla mufflers, tips exit at each side after the rear tires at a 45 degree angle.

you can run the 2 pipes together down the pass side and eliminate the crossmember problem. I have my 85 grand prix done this way and it works great.
I put in the jegster dual exhaust crossmember

that is the first non leaf spring car I have seen with traction bars
it's not the first one for me but I still get a good chuckle out of it... :lol:
what I don't see tho is an X or a H in the pipes..or cats ..and the headers arn't wrapped....
