I got three different diagrams to put my rear drum brakes back together but one has no actuator link and the new assembly i bought from autozone doesnt come with it, do i need it or no????? and if not can anyone point me in the rght direction(video/or past disscusion/diagram) anything helps...

Not exactly. Vortec heads only have 8 bolts for the intake total, and they are straight up and down. Your's looks to have the traditional 12 that are on an angle. Chances are you have swirl port heads not vortecs. If it was sold to you as vortecs then i'd check the casting number to see what you...

Did you drill and tap for the 4 bolts on the middle of the intake? The guy whole I bought the engine from built it, so I'm not sure but I'm interested now. Is this a common thing you must do in order to use the vortec heads?

Well I haven't ran new lines just used the old ones and moved it to the side the fuel pump is on hooked it up and the other line(canister side) is still left open not really sure what to do with it right now...someone told me it might just take a while for the fuel to get up there cuz the fuel...

Ok I've finally buttoned up my engine and i went to start it for the first time, it cranks over really nice but I'm getting no fuel when I look at the fuel filter in the line between the fuel pump and carb...this is my first time trying to start it since I swapped it in, this is my first time so...
