I bought a decent 79 Malibu been working on redoing . Was told it has a built 305 with a cam but ran block numbers it says its a 350.... Hmmmm. Runs good bad badly broke flexplate interior is shot body very straight one spot of surface rust under quarter window and on roof under the vinyl top .

79 Malibu when the heater is turn in off position of switched over to cold it till keys hot air in unless I bi pass the heater hoses on heater core ? It's 95 here so add the hot air on ur legs to that.lol. I fixed the vacuum. (So I thought) that controls the heater panel . Can anyone help ?
