Dash swap info

What issues did you encounter with the ductwork? Did you have to change all the ducting or was some of it the same? My car is sitting in storage at the body shop so I don't have access to see what mine looks like, plus the dash is still installed. I just received a complete heat only set-up so I have that ducting to look at. Thanks for your help, Rod

Rod, The car the dash was going into was a heat only car so I basically used the ducting that was with the car. I had to just change the A/C "Crotch Cooler" vent under the steering column to the floor vent pulls that is used with the heat only cars. The big change I found is the glove box pocket is specific to A/C vs heat only vehicles. If you received a complete heat only heater box with the ducting when you pull your dash to swap the heater box you will see the difference in the ducts. I did this change back in 2005 but never documented or took photos of the differences.

To add to that with the glove box pocket, the heater only one is smaller than the A/C one. SS Elco, do you even have a complete heat only module with everything needed? Where are you located at anyways.
