Hello All I was wondering if this is Fixable? how would i fix the rust holes Myself, i plan on getting another vinyl top put on i had this car for 3 years and already spent about 5grand and it doesnt even look like it Its my first old school car Everyone tells me just to get another cutlass but, that i think would cost more money than fixing it with a motor swap and all... Thanks in advance

if you have a welder, you should be about to fix it. I am not a welder I am unable to tell you best way to weld it other than what I see on Powerblock.

Poor thing. Cutoff wheel (or sawzall), donor car and let the welding begin. GM should get a beat down for not finishing better under vinyl tops...

That roof looks like it's ****ed. I would find a donor car with a solid roof and go from there. Now would be a good time to switch to T-tops if you wanted.

Remove your side windows..Cut minamal damage out.
Either weld in pieces
fiberglass/bondo
or make into to a elcocutlass

I have seen worse just time consuming

That might be but when rust stains first showed up on the quarter panels that's when the vinyl should have been removed. Cars don't last forever and this one is close to 30 years old. I also think there are more G bodies on the road than any other car from the 80's.
