I just installed a 275-60 MT Drag Radial on my 79 Malibu Wagon. I used a 8" rim with a 4" BS and it fits perfect. No hammering or rolling the 1/4 panel lips, stock ride height.

Ive seen somewhere, if i got with a 15x8 i need to stay with a 4" backspacing . I might try and find some 15x8 rallies instead of the 15x7 i have.
