I just got my new hubs and there was an O-ring on them.

My old ones do not have one.

I never seen an O-ring on any hub before so I think it is just used to hold on the black dust cover cap thing while sitting on the shelf.

Anyone else have an O-ring on there hubs?

Yes it's to keep water and dirt out of the spindle many modular bearings use them on late model cars

OK thanks.

The hubs I took off had no O-Ring

The manufactures has the O-ring on the hub in the picture on their site.

And this thing is huge that's why I am asking.

Looks like I will be getting out the Vaseline.........

I don't remember an O-ring on my hubs. They're probably a new improved design.

I went and checked the ones I have, no O-ring. I have seen 4 wheel drive models with an O-ring though. Part # ?

My hubs had o-rings but I could not get them to seat properly with them. As Scott indicated, I used RTV between the dust shield and spindle and between the hub and dust shield.

Yes that is what I did to my old ones just used Permatex between them.
