I hope I didn't intimidate the gentleman. I'm just voicing how I feel. It looks like he didn't return..

Mich, showing all the vacuum lines should certainly be helpful to our friend.

I am having hvac problems on my 1985 Buick Regal too. Air not blowing from dash vents, only from defrost and floor. Tried checking vacuum lines, but didn’t find anything. Lines are very brittle, snapped one checking it. Guess they all need replacing. Not familiar with where they all are or where they go. Another problem is inside windows fogging up. Don’t think my heater core is the problem, but not too sure about that either. Probably gonna have to get help fixing these problems.
Got car back a couple of weeks ago from getting it painted. Don’t have a good picture of it, just a couple I took when I picked it up. Try to take better pics later and post them, but here are the only two I have.

I've replaced the vacuum selector on the dash. I actually went thru a few units before finding one that worked properly. Of course, I went thru used units. I'm not sure if new ones are available.
I believe it's the selector wheel that goes bad and is unable direct vacuum as it was meant to.
Also, make sure your blend doors are functioning properly.

I think it is a reasonable request to introduce yourself and show your ride. Don't care what it looks like, we all share the same interest. Vacuum lines can be a pain as the manuals do not really show the whole story. Guys with pics and experience do. Hopefully he will introduce himself.

There's a vacuum selector on the heater control.

Hey.......Mike here from NC, sorry if I did something improper. Not a GBody owner long enough to know much about vacuum selector on the heater control. Can I get heater control out without talking dash out? Took the glove box off and looked around, but didn’t see anything wrong, the little door opens and closes when ac is turned on. Thanks for your help.

Just pull the radio bezel, then the heater controls. There are 2 plugs (1 vacuum, 1 electric) behind the glove box.

I was looking for pics to post, but can't find them. On mine, the pivot on the vacuum selector broke, and I repaired it with a really short piece of hose and a self tapping screw.
