I was in a Honda dealership today for work, and was struck by this visual abomination, which I later learned, was their "Clarity" model. With all the angles and distractions from its horrible design,

I immediately thought of the 6000 SUX from Robocop

Granted, the Honda is probably 3/4 the size of the SUX and a hybrid, but futuristic design hasn't changed much in 31 years.
I remember back in 87 thinking that the SUX was the new Taurus. I was appalled today, as an Olds fanatic, to learn that the SUX was based on a 77 Cutlass.
Also, the SUX headlight treatment looks similar to the 2+2....

Galaxy far far away
The sad thing is the SUX looks better than the real Honda. Most likely that Honda was designed by a bunch of Soyboys for their fellow Soyboys.

it seems like most of the people who buy new cars walk right past the looks of the car to see what software and programs the screen in the center of the dash has

Nissan commercials in my area are advertising the cars as "tech" instead as basic transportation.

There are so many things built into the front and sides. 2 things came to mind: 1- F1 cars have ridiculous things all over them, however they have been proven in a wind tunnel. Could this thing have actually spent time in front of the fan? Nah, it's just ugly. 2- it looks like a pain in the @$$ to wash and wax.

Are you positive about the sux being based on the 77 cutlass? I’m thinking more along a Cadillac. Roofline and fenderlines aren’t computing for me. But I didn’t build that POS.

Honda misspelled Clarity. It’s real spelling is “Shitwagon”.
