Every area is different, exact opposite here. Actually most of the BBO cores of nearly any make with compression and decent heads have knocking bottom ends when for sale. People rev them like a 350 on the stock bottom end, then boom. The guy had a 455 when I bought my Olds 350. He acted like the knocking 455 was solid gold, didn't ask the price. I got him down to $120 for the great running 76 350.The under 400 inch engines bring better money whether it be Pontiac, Olds, Buick, Ford, Chevy, etc. because the average guy is too squeamish to handle to large amounts of power unleashed by a large displacement engine. 😜
